WHAT IS SCREAK, AND WHY DOES IT EXIST?

Screak exists because the job search is genuinely broken right now, and most of the internet responds to that fact by offering advice. More tips. More frameworks. More reasons to believe that if you just did it better, it would go better.

Screak does not do that.

Screak offers structured catharsis — a place to feel what you're feeling, release it in a way that doesn't require saying it out loud to anyone, and be reminded that the experience you're having is shared by millions of people navigating the same broken system.

No open forums. No user-generated content. No moderation nightmares. Everything on Screak is designed — canned, intentional, safe, and grounded in how the brain actually works under prolonged stress and uncertainty.

WHO MADE THIS

Screak is a property of Parua LLC, a Virginia-based company founded by Paul Worsham. Parua operates multiple brands built on a shared intellectual foundation — a framework for understanding motivation, effort, and the brain's prediction system that Paul has developed over decades.

Screak applies that framework to a very specific problem: what happens to a person's motivation, self-image, and daily functioning when they are in a prolonged job search in a market that is returning less signal than the effort invested. The short answer is: a lot. The longer answer is the site.

SILENT SCREAK

Screak has two modes. The main site is loud, hot pink, and cathartic. Silent Screak — accessible from the tab bar or by swiping to the end of the card stack — is calm, teal, and oriented toward recovery. Same honesty. Different volume. Both are part of the same experience.

LEGAL

Screak's legal documents live at the Parua LLC master trust center. Privacy, terms, and data practices are covered there and apply to all Parua properties.

No identifying data is collected from anonymous users. Solidarity counters are aggregate and not attributable to individuals. If you create a Parua account (to save your progress across devices), your email is stored in Firebase Authentication and Firestore under the shared Parua account system. You can delete your account at any time by contacting vipsupport@parua.com.
